Service Engineer / Senior Service Engineer

Our Parts and Field Service business unit is now looking fora dynamic Service Engineeror Senior Service Engineer to strengthen our skilled team in Budaörs, Hungary.What will you be doing?As a Senior Service Engineer in our Field Service team, your tasks will revolve around maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of Wärtsilä OEM engines and auxiliaries on marine and land-based installations. You will be executing mechanical Field Service activities in adherence with Wärtsilä guidelines and site procedures, providing technical expertise for our customers and ensuring customer satisfaction.In this exciting role, travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. Thus, we are looking for candidates with a strong Field Service mindset who are ready and willing to travel for approximately 80 % of your working time.Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Executing planned maintenance and repairing jobs on Wärtsilä OEM engines and its auxiliaries according to Wärtsilä instructions.Performing maintenance and repair jobs on other Wärtsilä products.Using and maintaining workshop and field tools in accordance with good mechanical-work practices.Ensuring that the work is executed according to Wärtsilä QEHS guidelines and site procedures.Ensuring customer satisfaction with job performance and positive interactions with customers.Proactively consulting, advising, and promoting available Wärtsilä solutions and products to customers.In addition to your monthly salary, you will receive the following benefits:

B. Sc. or M. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.Experience of working with gas and/or diesel engines.Fluent Hungarian language skills.Good English language skills.Willingness to travel a minimum of 150 days per year.The below qualities will be considered an advantage:
