Manufacturing Engineer – Termeléstámogató Mérnök
Support the cell leader in creating a safe, qualitative, on-time and efficient production conditions. Additionally on Repair cell:
Organize and support the trainers’ work.
Key Accountabilities:

Analyse the risks to safety, quality, on-time delivery and efficiency and propose improvement actions and execute them
Solve daily technical / technology related production issues on Shop floor
Lead productivity improvement / cost saving projects assigned by the Cell Leader
Implement productivity actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
Bring new ideas and positive support to the current processes.
Implement COQ actions in order to improve the process and respect objectives
Support the execution of the viable operator suggestions (Kaizen ideas)
Monitor/organize required trainings and qualifications of operators
Participate in EHS related actions, to improve safety in own area, and warn the violators
Participate in LEAN initiative, support AWO actions to completion
Daily monitoring of manufacturing processes on the Shop, to assure that operators are following the given processes
Monitor critical enablers used in production (tools, fixtures, machines etc.). Collect and evaluate requests, equipment related improvement opportunities. Manage ordering, Support implementation
Participates in Indirect material specifications / tests
Active participation in performance appraisal of the Shopfloor operators
Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events.
Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules.
Immediately report the incidents and near misses to the direct reports and EHS dept.
Immediately shut down the operation when realized life or serious injury risk present.
Responsibility:

Lead the communications within strategic engineering team
Meet goals and objectives of all Engineering related KPIs, follow up results periodically
Create documented procedures for operators
Lead improvements and follow Lean principles
ISO 9001 standard compliance
Work with operators and support improvements
Represent production area and product conformity on internal and external audits
Meet goals and objectives of all engineering related KPIs, track results periodically
Document control and continuous follow up
Lead improvements and follow Lean principles
Customer focus and product conformance
Review ideas submitted through the employee suggestion system
Requirements/Qualification:

Education:
College/University degree, Mechanical engineering degree is an advantage
Professional qualification for time and motion studies (REFA)
Experience:
Experience in mechanical industry (Power plant, aero driven or energetic skills preferred)
Two years work experience.
Competencies:
Good English and Hungarian language knowledge is must
Knowledge in quality/productivity modern tools (Six Sigma, problem solving),
High awareness of safety (EHS)
Team player behavior, open minded and energetic personality, Able to work with office automation (Word, Excel, AutoCAD or equivalent)
Willingness to work in a dynamic, performance-oriented environment
Willingness to undergo further professional training and to work independently
