Lead Esourcing Specialist

Project manage complex eSourcing events such as eAuctions, for multiple Business Units and CategoriesDefine approach to market in accordance with the respective category strategy, recommend most suitable event type and structureBuild and execute eSourcing events in Ariba, in line with requirements and process, communicate status and progress of projects to requestors/stakeholders, manage all supplier interactions through event lifecycleAt event closure, provide high quality report and commercial analyses for decision making support eg:
excel custom reports, optimisationDevelop collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the company to implement and optimize eAuction usage, pro-actively engage and build pipelineTake ownership and accountability for incoming projects -Identify opportunities and issues while maintaining effectivenessEnsure all systems and tools are available relating to online tendering;
issues are raised in a timely manner to the relevant service providersProvide excellent support to BP Procurement organizations, building the credibility of the Team and creating further demandTake an innovative approach and support/lead continuous improvement initiatives, identify and pursue process re-engineering, value engineering, and demand management opportunities, increase efficienciesBuild and maintain strong pipeline for eAuction activitiesReporting the performance of self and fellow eSourcing Leads and further develop current measurement systemEnsure right visibility of eAuction success stories - Provide mentoring and leadership to Event Management Team RFx, maximise performance and development potential in field of online tenderingSupport Sourcing activities as neededTo align with any other job-related requirements.
