Ce Tax Risk & Governance Manager

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT:
Mapping &
reviewing tax processes, followed by bringing effective solutions and simplifications. Proactively mitigating risk and weaknesses in processes.Processes and controls:
Documenting tax compliance processes with identification of key controls. Performing ongoing monitoring and testing.Testing operational effectiveness of processes through interviews and process walkthroughs.Identifying risk &
control weaknesses and mitigating them proactively. Initiating process re-design where it does not have sufficient tax control.Ensuring results are considered in Tesco's broader ICFR.People:
Collaborating with tax team members during the design and implementation phase of the local tax goverment framework.Collaborating with Tesco Finance team, service centre in India and affected lines of business across the organization.Communicating importance of change initiatives as a trusted advisor of the business.Providing acceptable solutions when the company has bottlenecks and engaging in delivering better solutions when feasible.Data:
Ensuring that data used for tax is accurate at source and any errors are identified prior to submissions.Building data control framework where tax data is interrogated and analysed to predict and manage risk at transational level.Understanding country tax authority's data requirements and creating a systematic way to gather and retain evidence.WHY YOU WILL LIKE WORKING WITH USFLEXIBILITY- The times of punishments for coming 5 minutes late are gone.
