AsTeam Lead Sales Manager for the Hungarian market your role is with Budapest + Western Hungary, and your role will be instrumental in driving the success and achievement of the market's performance targets and strategic KPIs. You will serve as a key liaison, delivering market insights on the Hungarian region's retailers to stakeholders within SquareTrade and their partners, following a defined cadence.As a Team Lead/ASM for SquareTrade, you'll put a lot of focus on connecting with SquareTrade's retailers in your district. You do this through store visits and sales promotion activities. As soon as possible or by agreementBuild long-term relationships within your sales territory by creating partnerships focused on key retail leaders such as Store Directors and internal partnersTake ownership and manage the planning and execution of engagement and training activitiesDrive sales of SquareTrade's insurance services to the stores and train store staff on how to sell an insurance productManage retailer partner/store escalations by liaising with customer service contact center and SquareTrade’s HQ to resolve.Work across departments to contribute to process improvements and optimizations to increase sales in your regionAct as the primary point of contact POC for the client regarding Field Operations, ensuring seamless communication and relationship management.Oversee retail marketplace operations and Area Sales Managers for smooth daily functioning.Set and maintain performance standards for Area Sales Managers, tracking their progress against strategic goals.Communicate marketplace plans, key information, and strategic initiatives to the team for transparency and alignment.Create a collaborative and inclusive work environment to motivate and engage Area Sales Managers.Provide guidance, coaching, and support to team members to enhance their performance and productivity.Conduct regular team meetings, individual sessions, and performance reviews for effective communication and accountability.Identify team training and development needs, recommending initiatives to improve skills and knowledge.Monitor and analyze marketplace performance metrics to generate insights for continuous improvement.Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in retail marketplaces.Collaborate with other team leads to align marketplace activities with overall business goals and maximize outcomes.Track team budget and monthly progress, updating the Account Manager to ensure financial targets are met.We are looking for you who:
Minimum 4 years of experience in the retail and consumer electronics industryProven leadership experience, ideally in store management, with a focus on consumer training and coachingExperience of product training for large groupsPossibility to travel occasionally regionally, nationally and international travelsTrack record of monitoring and following up on KPI performanceFluent in Hungarian and English, both written and verbalProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace PowerPoint, Excel, WordStrong interpersonal and communicationExcellent presentation creation skills and verbal presentation skillsService mindedFlexible and solution-orientedThrives from building relationships and making sales growthHas an analytical mind
