A leading international manufacturing company is expanding its Budapest Finance Hub, creating a new team responsible for supporting global manufacturing operations and driving finance excellence across international production sites.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Shared Service Center and build your expertise in standard costing, cost analysis, inventory, and manufacturing controlling. You will support financial processes, reporting, and analysis while gaining valuable exposure to international manufacturing operations and global finance processes.

We are looking for a motivated finance professional who is interested in understanding the connection between manufacturing operations and financial performance. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and international stakeholders, supporting accurate costing processes and developing your knowledge of manufacturing finance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Support standard costing processes and product cost calculations
• Assist with cost variance analysis and help identify the key drivers behind cost and profitability changes
• Support product margin, profitability, and P&L analysis
• Assist with inventory valuation and analysis of the financial impact of stock movements
• Prepare regular financial reports and analyses for internal stakeholders
• Work closely with manufacturing sites and finance teams across different countries
• Support the improvement of controlling processes and reporting activities
• Participate in finance transition and process improvement projects
• Learn and develop your knowledge of manufacturing finance and standard costing

What we are looking for:

• 1–3 years of experience in controlling, cost accounting, inventory accounting, manufacturing finance, or a similar area
• Basic understanding of standard costing, cost analysis, or profitability analysis
• Good understanding of accounting and financial concepts
• Interest in manufacturing processes and their financial impact
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system is an advantage
• Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Proactive, curious attitude and willingness to learn
• Good English communication skills in an international environment
• Previous manufacturing experience is an advantage, but not a must
